August has us dreaming of floral-filled skincare routines, lake-soaked skin and afternoons that feel as long as late-summer shadows. 

This month, the HH team is biting into homegrown tomatoes and ripe peaches, trying co-cleansing for curly hair and spending extended time by the water's edge. 

USING

Melissa: Dumplings from our neighbours, The Daily Dumpling Wonton Co.

Nat: Fresh pasta from Eataly with farm cherry tomato's.

Jenna: So many Ontario peaches!

Jeronnie: Sourdough, large orange tomatoes, cilantro and burrata cheese.

Mary: Lev Bakery’s rugelach and Vital Life Vegan platters Mondays at the Sorauren Farmer’s Market.

Tara: Pickerel with tomato salad and fresh corn. Also deli sandwiches with Cape Cod chips from Silver Stream Farms in Port Sandfield.

Tara: Being in the lake much as I can, going to bed early and waking up early, reading and cooking with tomatoes.

Jenna: Attending summer socials, swimming as much as I can and getting back into spin classes.

Melissa: Going on walks by the boardwalk and swimming!

Jeronnie: Spending time with my family and their new puppy!
