MEET JERONNIE
Jeronnie is a seasoned esthetician who brings intention, care, and expertise to every service. A graduate of the Esthetics and Professional Spa Therapist Program at Bryan College in Toronto, she has honed her traditional and holistic skincare skills during her 13 years of experience in professional spas and clinics.
Before joining Health Hut, Jeronnie was a highly sought-after Skin Therapist at Province Apothecary's wellness clinic. There, she specialized in holistic-based facials that emphasize ancient tool techniques, massage and lymphatic drainage. Her approach is intuitive and attentive, always tuning into the body's cues and focusing on areas where tension is held.
One of Jeronnie's favourite techniques is the myofascial release, performed at the end of a lymphatic massage, targeting the ears, neck, shoulders, and décolleté. She loves leaving clients feeling like they're walking out with the best skin they've ever had, a tension-free face and a mind at ease.

The best service for sensitive or reactive skin is the 60-minute Province Apothecary Organic Facial. Province Apothecary is a brand local to Toronto that uses gentle and organic ingredients that can target any skincare goal. This facial uses techniques grounded in ancient holistic modalities.
Province Apothecary uses a blend of oils to help soothe and heal by hydrating and calming the skin barrier. These products are crafted to be gentle, making this service fabulous for irritated, inflamed or break-out-prone skin.
Province Apothecary formulas are also nut and gluten-free.
All facials include exfoliation but use different approaches and intensities. The main distinction between the services is the exfoliating methods; Monastery is active, using a natural acid, and Province Apothecary and LESSE are through physical stimulation.
Monastery facials include a rose glycolic gel mask that maximizes the depth of enzyme activity from the acid in pineapple and other citrus fruits. The glycolic acid properties dissolve dead skin cells on the skin's surface, giving way to fresher, smoother skin. The rose extract in this mask is a balancing counterpart to the glycolic exfoliant, which contains anti-inflammatory properties that soothe the skin.
In contrast, Province Apothecary facials use physical techniques and tools to achieve gentle exfoliation. Dry brushes are used to exfoliate the skin. Through small circular motions, the gentle bristles open the lymphatic pathways and physically polish away dead skin cells. This step is followed with an organic honey mask to naturally lift and loosen dry skin, also acting as an additional exfoliant.
Additionally, during the cleansing step, the LESSE facial uses a physical exfoliant of apricot shells and charcoal in a thick base of aloe vera. These gentle exfoliants decongest and smooth skin, making them an excellent option for skin sensitive to acids.
All facial services include a focused lymphatic facial massage, applying varying techniques and tools.
The Province Apothecary Cupping Facial provides the most focused time dedicated to massage, varying in depth and pressure. The facial begins with a massage to the face, scalp, and décolleté with acupressure techniques. The Dual-Action Jade Facial Roller is then used as holistic alternative to micro-needling. The stone points gently massage deep into the skin to the stimulate the natural regenerative function without breaking the epidermis. The final tools used in this service are the cups from the Province Apothecary Facial Cupping Set. These sculpt and plump the skin by encouraging blood flow and collagen production.
The Monastery Gua Sha Facial includes a sculpting massage with the Unakite Gua Sha. This technique achieves advanced lymphatic drainage and a deep-pressure massage. The Gua Sha targets facial muscles with more precision and distributed pressure.
The LESSE Essential Facial uses two cold Gua Sha Sculpting Tools to stimulate lymphatic drainage, define the jawline, cheekbones, and brow bones, smooth the appearance of fine lines and promote cell oxygenation.
