Another New Year rolls in, and while this can often feel like a fresh recalibration, it can also seem daunting or less-than-inspiring (especially with yet another partial lockdown kicking things off).
Here at HH, we love to aim for comfort and joy at every turn, so to this January we're sharing our team's "fave stay-at-home rituals" to help you keep it cozy, settle into the slowness and enjoy it as much as you possibly can.

"I'm working on those cooking skills and looking to Big Little Recipes for tasty tips! Painting my own nails (awfully) with the Sundays No 25 in baked clay (such a pretty shade!) and EXFOLIATING! The Province Apothecary Dry Brush is a must for this! When I get out, I like going for winter walks on the Don Valley trail and getting baked goods from Gerrard St Bakery."

"Since we're spending so much more time indoors and staying cozy, I'm back on my puzzle train. The Fits Puzzles are so unique and perfect for a weekend in. Also doing all the face masks right now to replenish moisture and soothe my finicky skin. I love the Tata Harper Hydrating Floral Mask!"

"I've been wrapping myself in ALL the blankets - the Stray & Wander ones are so cozy and the perfect size this time of year! I am also loving hydration-rich moisturizers a la Tata Harper Hyaluronic Gel Moisturizer!"

"This season I'm loving home-made soups loaded with veggies and faro, the La Vie Bath Milk, The Cure Face & Neck Mask (which is so hydrating btw) takeout from Bar Vendetta, wine and snacks from Bottega Volo!"

"Staying in and being cozy is definitely my jam! I get my Lohn candles burning, I read loads of good books (Currently: The Midnight Library by Matt Haig) and I amp up the self-care. I am currently obsessed with my HH Gua Sha, and learning new techniques with it (love @britta_beauty for these!) On the weekends I grab a sourdough loaf from Mattachioni and browse the wine selection at Donna's! Oh, and I recently started using the Tata Harper Water Lock Moisturizer again and it's perfect for layering to get that deep, deep hydration!"

"I'm taking advantage of these quieter months to catch up on all the books I've been stocking up, including some I recently received from Flying Books - our new College Street neighbours! I'm also testing out some new bath products (hint hint), ordering wine from Grape Witches and keeping the Lohn Scent Pebble and uplifting scents by my computer when working. This, paired with the Province Apothecary Uplift Roll-On sets up the perfect tone for focus and balance! And this time of year, there's nothing I love more than to order a tasty dinner from our friends at Bar Isabel, or Gia (heart eyes!)"
