Mine was from a new batch but still started to get grainy over the course of the week. First application was great and it started to get grainier and grainier. I'd pass on this until Cute figures their formula out. I love Matter and will be sticking to it for now. It's too hard as I loved the size of Cure's lip balm.

Thanks for sharing your feedback. Lip balm can sometimes have a grainy texture when its formulated with certain natural butters like shea, mango, and cocoa. Temperature changes can cause these ingredients to crystallize, forming a granular texture.
