About the Role

We're looking for a Keyholder & Sales Associate with a genuine interest in clean beauty and lifestyle products, a sharp eye for detail, and a proven drive to hit — and exceed — sales goals while making every customer feel genuinely cared for.


Responsibilities

In-Store Customer Service

  • Greet every customer warmly and make them feel welcome from the moment they walk in.
  • Build real, one-on-one relationships with customers — remembering their preferences, following up on past visits, and making every interaction count.
  • Develop deep product knowledge across all brands and categories so recommendations are always relevant and confident.
  • Consistently meet and exceed sales targets with a proactive, non-pushy approach.
  • Handle customer questions, complaints, and concerns with care and efficiency — in-store, by phone, email, and chat.
  • Monitor Reamaze and Slack to stay on top of customer and team communications.
  • Process transactions through Shopify POS and manage facial bookings and payments through Acuity.
  • Keep the store impeccably clean, organized, and welcoming at all times.

Inventory Management

  • Receive, price, and put away new inventory accurately and promptly.
  • Uphold visual merchandising standards and maintain excellent store presentation.
  • Track and adjust inventory levels, logging all changes carefully.

Ecommerce

  • Fulfill pick-up and same-day delivery orders, as well as the occasional shipping order.
  • Use shipping programs to schedule and confirm orders with accuracy and timeliness.
  • Monitor Reamaze and Slack for order updates and customer inquiries.
  • Keep the back room clean, organized, and functional.

Keyholder

  • Ensure all customer issues are fully resolved before the end of each shift.
  • Troubleshoot in-store systems as needed (Shopify, Moneris, internet, Sonos, alarm).
  • Complete all closing protocols and leave the store in excellent condition.
  • Communicate regularly with other locations and management.


What We're Looking For

  • Genuine alignment with Health Hut's values, brand, and products — you use and believe in what we carry.
  • A natural warmth with customers, and a sharp eye for the small details that make a big difference in their experience.
  • A self-starter who takes initiative but also follows direction well.
  • 1–2 years minimum retail and customer service experience, with a real track record of hitting sales goals.
  • Strong attention to detail across all tasks, from inventory logging to order fulfillment.
  • Comfort with technology: POS systems, Shopify, and general computer use. Shopify POS experience is a strong asset.

Role Details

Department: Retail

Employment Type: Full-time or part-time, weekend position — approximately 16-36 hours per week. Availability on both Saturday and Sunday is required.

Compensation: $20–23/hour based on experience, plus 4% vacation pay, two paid sick days, a staff discount on all products, and access to a bonus structure and regular sales incentives.

Location: 786 College Street, Toronto. This role involves stair use and light lifting.

Start Date: ASAP
