AUGUST MONTHLY PICKS
Saturated sunsets, long lake swims and juicy ripe fruits.
August is the month of savouring.
This month, the HH team is soaking in the rest of summer with extra hydration for the face and body. Our skincare routines start with oil cleansers to remove sweat and sunscreen, mists and essences throughout the day to keep skin plump in the heat, and crèmes and moisturizers to calm and heal sunned skin.
USING
TARA:
Tata Harper's Nourishing Oil Cleanser, Concentrated Brightening Essence, Rejuvenating Serum and Superkind Calming Crème. Plus, a little Illuminating Eye Crème to finish.
We've had the pleasure of hosting events with Tata herself in Muskoka this summer, and I always fall even more in love with her line after listening to her speak. She has so much passion and integrity and it comes through in each product.
NAT:
LESSE Regeneration Mist, Tata Harper Rejuvenating Serum, Tata Harper Reparative Moisturizer, Tata Harper Restorative Eye Crème and Vintner's Daughter Active Botanical Serum — now available in a bigger, 50ml bottle.
MARY:
My new product crushes are the Tata Harper Superkind Calming Crème — loving this as a last step at night for my summer-stressed face and it’s been perfect for after-care on my new tattoos!
I'm excited to treat my hands to the Monastery Universal Balm it smells amazing! Another constant companion is natureofthings Superlative Body Balm — essential relief for stiff muscles and joints. And, a camping must, Bite Insect Repellent. It's plant based and it works for mosquitoes and ticks.
SARAH:
Coola Rosilience tinted SPF in Fresh Rose offers sheer coverage and that 'glass skin' glow. Corpus N° GREEN everything, but specifically the N° Green Deodorant. This is hands down the best natural deodorant I've tried. The scent is so fresh and it stays that way all day.
Activist Manuka Honey Mask is a sweet mask that speeds up healing and melts off of the skin with the first splash of water. Such a beautiful mask!
