It's a season for coziness, for planning our gift giving and (hopefully) enjoying a little R&R before things get "holiday hectic". We've been getting really excited about making our lists, checking out the local haunts for some goodies, and enjoying that full fall feeling! Here are Team Health Hut's November picks. :)
1. Love Life on Crave
Looking for your next binge-worthy series? Tara and Julie are big fans of this one, an anthology that follows one character's first romance to their last. You'll have a hard time stopping at one (or even three) episodes! Get those candles and blankets ready!
2. Salt & Stone Deodorants
What can we say, there isn't a single one of us at HH who hasn't fallen in love with the Salt & Stone deodorants. The scents are deep and complex and they hold up so well. Their packaging is also all recyclable, made from ocean plastic. It's a win-win!
3. Ottolenghi Test Kitchen
A new Ottolenghi book just in time for hosting season! This one is another home-run, with chapters like "The Freezer Is Your Friend" and "That One Shelf in the Back of Your Pantry," how can anyone go wrong?
4. The French Onion Soup at Cluny
Is there anything more cozy than a bowl of classic French Onion soup? For a scrumptious and authentic bistro experience, nothing beats an evening at Cluny's.
5. Lohn Nord Candle
Looking for the perfect seasonally scented candle? The Nord candle is the ideal combination of Fir, Cedar, Spruce and a touch of pine and fennel to freshen your space up. Bring the forest indoors this winter and breath deep!
6. La Vie Hand Cream
A good hand cream is a must this time of year, and this one never disappoints! Non-greasy with a velvety finish, La Vie hand creams help you retain all the moisture you need to make it through the dry, cold months! These also make the best hostess gifts.
7. Centre and Main Chocolate Bars at Euclid Farms
Many of you will know Euclid Farms by their incredible floral creations and cute shop down on Queen Street (those beautiful dried bundles in our windows are from them!) but they also carry a limited selection of giftable items and these artisan bars from Centre and Main are no joke. With flavours like Fig & Flower, Toffee & Potato Chip and Earl Grey & Caramelized Banana, the only trouble will be choosing!
8. Toronto Christmas Market
Let's face it, this long-standing event is one of Toronto's most classic traditions! Lights, mulled wine, all the treats you could want with all the charm of the distillery district! The market runs from Nov 15th to Dec 23rd.
