Apprenti Ôr'ganik is a Montreal based body care line, using Canadian hempseed and other natural organic ingredients. We asked founder Alexe a few questions about her journey, and the inspiration behind her stunning products.

The minute I tried Apprenti Ôr'ganik I knew it was a special brand. What do you think it is that makes your products so lovely?
I'm a strong believer in the power of the intentions that are put into doing something. I truly believe that my products come from a respectful, nurturing and giving relationship with Mother Earth. I see all the skin benefits provided by the product as a sacred gift from the earth bringing us back to the basics. The respect and gratitude for the natural ingredients put inside my bottles makes them more than just lotions or soaps. There's an energy of love and harmony that is received by everyone that uses the products.
Scent is such an important part of how we connect to a product. What inspired the two scents for your wash and lotions?
My travels!! Especially the one I did in morocco. The smells there were so raw, real and organic. The musk, the clay, the dirt, the sweats, the clementine, the spices, all so vibrant compared to our synthetique, clean and almost aseptic smells we have here.
I wanted my products to be different. I wanted them to have this luxurious raw and subtle aroma that comes from elements of nature and choosing to use therapeutic grade essential oil to fragrance my product also improves psychological and physical well-being. It's a win-win situation.
What's something you want us to know about you/your brand?
This brand started as a hobby really. My husband and I started years ago to remove all the toxins and synthetics things in our house, to transition to only natural non harmful products. That's when I decided to start making our own skincare product. The good intention was there but the skills were not haha. I took formulation classes and my passion for herbs and for holistic health grew stronger. I am now working on my business full time and studying to get my chartered herbalist diploma. I found my purpose through Apprenti Ôr'ganik and this is how I am of service to others.
